Ingredients

  • 1 small cauliflower head
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour for dredging
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Break the cauliflower florets into medium-small pieces. Boil them in salted water for 7-9 minutes, depending on how large your pieces are. Drain and set aside.
  • Add flour to a small bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with some salt and pepper.
  • Dredge the cauliflower pieces in flour and then dip them into the egg mixture.
  • Add vegetable oil (about 4 tbsp.) to a large, non-stick skillet. Fry the cauliflower over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, until it turns golden brown on each side.
  • Drizzle with garlic sauce* if desired.

*To make the garlic sauce, mix 1 tbsp. of minced garlic, 1 tbsp. of chopped parsley, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice, and 2 tbsp. of olive oil together.
