How about some potatoes for dinner? Not only these cute little fellas look appealing and fun, but they are very delicious too.
I enjoy the process of cooking 95% of the time ( 5% is the time when I am being rushed or very tired). I usually watch some classes on my favorite website creativelive.com, some photography tutorials on YouTube, or some episodes of Friends on Netflix. Yes, I love re-watching Friends. It is one of my favorite TV shows and it rocks. While keeping those videos on the background, I can stay in the kitchen all day. That way I can learn something new and cook something good – great way to spend time.
Today they had a live class on creativelive.com called Ditch Your Day Job by Michelle Ward. I was really enjoying it while slicing potatoes. 🙂 I hope that I will be able to ditch my day job at Starbucks in the future and pursue food photography/blogging/recipe sharing as a career. Fingers crossed.
These potatoes could also be cooked with mushrooms, tomatoes, ham and other kinds of stuffing. I usually use bacon because it is very flavorful.
Top them off with fresh herbs, garlic, yogurt or… some more bacon! Just cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a separate pan until crunchy. Pour the bacon onto the cooked potatoes together with all the pan drippings. Yum!
