This Healthy Strawberry Milkshake is made with frozen bananas, fresh strawberries, and milk. You won't believe how simple and tasty this recipe is!

I bet this Healthy Strawberry Milkshake is going to become your favorite recipe this summer. It requires just 4 simple ingredients, tastes like ice cream, and it is actually good for you. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself.
I recommend using whole milk in this recipe. Since we are skipping the ice cream, whole milk will give a smooth and creamy consistency to the milkshake. For maximum health benefits, use organic milk. I don't think that Almond, Coconut, or Cashew milk will give you the same result, so skip it this time and go for the good old-fashioned whole milk. 🙂
Some of you may wonder why I use bananas that are frozen and strawberries that are not. It's because I found that by doing it this way, the milkshake will have the perfect texture and won't be too frozen or too runny. You may also wonder why I don't use ice to control the temperature and texture of the milkshake. That is because the ice will make it less creamy and alter the texture slightly. Just follow the recipe precisely and you won't be disappointed.
To make this delicious summer treat, you'll need:
- 2 medium frozen bananas
- 10 oz. fresh strawberries
- 2 cups organic whole milk
- 1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
1. Place all the ingredients in a powerful blender (Ninja is the best!) and process until smooth.

I make this smoothie with yoghurt, fresh strawberries, a little bit of milk, little bit of honey and OJ, and a few ice cubes.
No bananas.
Did make a basic peach smoothie today as we were out of strawberries. Same ingredients as above.
