I am happy you are here! My name is Tania and I cook simple and healthy meals. I truly enjoy cooking and I am one of those people who can spend hours in the kitchen without even noticing the time go by. I created this blog hoping to meet new people, make new friends, share my love for food and deliver my very best recipes to YOUR kitchen.
I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to the USA in 2009. My mom is a chef and she lives in Italy, so I’ve spent some time visiting this beautiful country, getting to know their cuisine and habits. I have always been a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and I spent LOTS of time and read TONS of books learning Mediterranean recipes and cooking techniques. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I managed to develop my own cooking style and recipes with an emphasis on quick, healthy and nutritious meals.
“You are what you eat” – not sure who was the wise person behind this quote, but I strongly stand by it.
I believe that everything in life should be in balance and every once in a while we can treat ourselves to our favorite desserts and such, but we should always pay attention to what we eat and drink. Doing so will keep us healthy and full of energy. I hope my recipes will bring you both. This lovely man in the picture is my inspiration/most-of-the-food-eater/the-love-of-my-life and my husband Stan. He is also helping me with this blog, so I have more time to spend in the kitchen. Win-Win!
